Mission

Women's Day 2015 marked the first event of an annual series with dual purpose: to celebrate historical progress from feminist movements & inspire modern day movements towards equity for everyone.  Each year, Women's Day will focus on a distinct topic of inclusive conversation to ignite dialogue that relates, uplifts, and challenges our perceptions of the dominant social order. We are grounded in intersectionality so we can strive toward a world that's better for everyone.

Women's Day was organized not merely to acknowledge the progress of the past, but to demand a continuation of our mothers', grandmothers', and ancestors' work. We demand progress now and far into the future. We are here to celebrate progress & push forward.
