Artistic movement Black Lives, Black Words will host the Friday night kick-off with BLBW Artistic Associate and Women’s Day Conference founder Becca Browne as MC. The kick-off will feature original staged readings and have an open mic portion, all centered around the theme Breaking Boundaries: Migration & Movement. Black Lives, Black Words and Loyola students and community members will share their art, dance, poetry, and more with free food and drinks provided!
